My Director of Architecture role encompasses responsibility for our Architecture team, made up of architects and cloud engineers as well as our software engineering team covering software development and testing.  I have responsibility for the solution architecture of our technologies, ensuring all solutions are 'fit for purpose' for the business as well as ensuring the we have the right processes and people in order to deliver on that architecture and turn the design into a reality.

I joined Emerald in 2019 as Lead Architect before becoming the Director of Architecture in Jan 2023 and have been involved in a wide range of diverse initiatives since then, not least the launch of our revamped and reengineered Emerald Insights platform. I've 20+ years experience working in technology across a range of areas covering development, platform and infrastructure roles.
